This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager. We are looking for iOS engineers to help us build and maintain frameworks and tools for Airbnb’s iOS engineers. You will have an unique opportunity to develop solutions that work at scale. Working alongside an experienced team of iOS engineers you will research, measure, build, and deploy products that will benefit the entire Airbnb iOS community.

Your day-to-day responsibilities includes:

• Collaborate with infrastructure engineers and partners to develop frameworks and tools.
• Engineer cutting edge solutions to problems that come about when developing at scale.
• Follow data-driven approaches to find inefficiencies in the build/test/deploy pipeline.
• Identify areas of improvement and drive mobile best practices

Minimum Requirements:

• 5+ years industry experience
• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree, preferably in CS, or equivalent experience
• Experience shipping one or more Swift or Objective-C iOS apps, ideally currently available in the App Store
• Personal projects that show an aptitude for technical excellence and product sense
• Ability to work in areas outside of your usual comfort zone and show motivation for personal growth
• Solid engineering and coding skills. Understanding of basic data structures and asynchronous programming
• Interest in innovations within the mobile industry
• Nice to have: demonstrated design and UX sensibilities

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting base pay for this role is between 164000 and 215000. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
